ESPN first reported the information.
Jenkins has skipped voluntary work this year, presumably in hopes of obtaining a new contract. The 31-year-old has two years left on his contract worth around $8 million per season.
Tyrann Mathieu and Landon Collins re-set the top of the safety market this offseason, generating $14 million each year. Gamers closer to Jenkins’ age, like Lamarcus Joyner and Harrison Smith, are earning north of $10 million per year.
Jenkins reporting is a great sign to start minicamp, but it remains to be seen when the Eagles will offer their secondary leader the pay-bump he attempts.
