Jessica Harrington will look at a comeback run over hurdles because of her long-absent Cheltenham Gold Cup hero Sizing John.
The nine-year-old finished the riband in Cheltenham the rare treble of the Gold Cup at Leopardstown and the Punchestown Gold Cup in the first half of 2017.
Although he left a flying start into the subsequent campaign in the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase, he frustrated at Leopardstown over the Christmas period and injuries have kept him off since.
Harrington reports Sizing John in health at the moment while unsurprisingly careful of preparation too far ahead.
Sizing John is good. He is hacking and I thought hed awakened a good bit, said the Moone handler.
Weve not made any plans, but we can do anything like this (run over challenges ) because he has been off the track for almost two years.
He looks well and and can be shifting amazing
Harringtons other National Hunt celebrity is your Supasundae that is admirable.
When defending his crown before rounding off his effort with a runner-up ending behind Buveur DAir the gelding claimed his victory in last seasons Aintree Hurdle at Grade One level.
Supasundae is grand and doing his usual thing it always takes a long time to get him ready, Harrington added.
He could go to the Hattons Grace in Fairyhouse in early December, or we might even wait until Christmas.
We know hes a terrific spring horse.
